What is this?

Mythic masculine refers to archetypal masculine figures found in myths, folklore, and spiritual teachings. These figures represent a spectrum of important ideals related to masculinities: strength, invulnerability, and courage; magic and mystery; wisdom, compassion, and creativity. It is an idealized form of masculinity, which challenges traditional notions of gender roles and encourages individuals to look beyond societal expectations of ‘being a man’ and instead to strive for an inner state of being that celebrates all aspects of their masculine potential.
